this weekend

was a hard one. I delt with alot and I'm just so glad that I'm a strong person and can handle what life has thrown at me.

Saturday was an especially hard day.

but sunday was so so so amazing and really cheered me up. It was EXCATLY what I needed.

I think sunday was the best day of my entire summer. It definitly was.



Where to begin...

I woke up and Sabrina called me and invited me to go to The Island Hotel in Newport. Her boyfriend works there so he was able to get us lunch and FREE drinks all day.

I called out at work because my back was in so much pain from the day before. I have no idea what happened to my back but it was NOT feeling good at all and after a long and stressful weekend I could definitly use a day off to enjoy the day and catch up with my friend.



What better way to spend a sunday?



So when we got to the pool area at the hotel, Josh had already set up our towles :)

we ordered food from him and got (salad, chips and salsa and a delicious quesadilla plus two long islands to start)



we layed out and tanned and talked and it was just sooo soo relaxing. The day was gorgeous! it was super sunny and we were just having the best time talking about life, friends where we are at this point in our lives and what we want to do with ourselves. We went swimming too and died from laughter because we kept doing this stupid thing with our hair. You dunk your hair in the pool and then flip it over your head like a wig it's hilarious!! We got super wasted too. we had mojitos, gin and tonics, margaritas and long islands. Why not?! haha The day was priceless. We hung out there from 12-5pm until josh got off work and then he drove us to black angus so I could pick up my purse it was such a nice gesture. They are GOOD friends. Afterwards, we went back to Sabrinas and took mini naps hahaha and than decided to hang out with our friend Dan. We went over to his house and brought some cold chardonnnay over. we all just hung out and listened to music and looked up funny videos. It was an amazing day filled with good friends.


I am so happy. and feel so lucky to have great people in my life.
